Welcome to the Belgian Pavilion
MIPIM: 15th – 18th March 2016
MIPIM 2016 AGENDA >>
What was new in 2016?
1. THE BELGIAN PAVILION KEEPS EXPANDING
This year, another level (level +3) has been added, directly accessible from the first floor of the Pavilion. Make sure to add it to your MIPIM itinerary as this level will showcase 4 major Belgian development projects. The centrepiece is Blue Gate Antwerp, an eco-efficient business park of 63 hectares, excellently located just outside the city of Antwerp and along the river Scheldt. The other projects in the spotlight are: Ecowijk (Ghent), ‘t Groen Kwartier (Antwerp) and Rinkkaai (Ghent).
The Pavilion will also host a number of great conferences, which will present investment opportunities in Flanders, Wallonia and the Brussels region. Please check the programme here and register online to confirm your attendance. All conferences will be held in the dedicated Belgian Conference Room, conveniently accessible from the main entrance of the Belgian Pavilion. Simply follow the signs up to level 3.
2. LONG TERM COMMITMENT FOR THE BELGIAN PAVILION UNTIL 2020
After two successful editions of the Belgian Pavilion, the 3 main partners (Brussels Capital Region, Wallonia and Flanders Development Group) have signed a 5-year collaboration agreement to further support and develop the Pavilion. All parties are convinced that the exposure gained during MIPIM is crucial in order to position the Belgian real estate market on the international scene and to attract foreign investors.
3. A MAJOR BELGIAN CONFERENCE AT MIPIM 2017
The objective is to organise a major Belgian Conference as early as MIPIM 2017. This conference, jointly organised by the 3 main partners, will not only showcase the Belgian Market opportunities, but also the expertise of the private Belgian real estate players, in order to support their international growth.
4. A PAVILION BUILT UPON STRONG PUBLIC AND PRIVATE FOUNDATIONS
The number of private organisations supporting the Belgian Pavilion is growing steadily. This year, we have the privilege of hosting around 60 private organisations from all over the country. This whole endeavour would not be possible without the support of the Brussels Capital Region, the Wallonia region and the cities of Ghent and Antwerp.
